Our Story
Founded in 2017, HSCF Tamil Academy emerged from a deep commitment within the Hindu Society of Central Florida to preserve and promote the Tamil language among younger generations. What began as a small weekend class with just 20 students has blossomed into a thriving educational institution serving over 100 students annually.
Our academy stands as a beacon of Tamil culture in Central Florida, offering comprehensive language education that spans from basic alphabet recognition to advanced literary analysis. We believe that language is not just a means of communication but a gateway to understanding our rich cultural heritage, ancient literature, and timeless values.
Over the years, we have grown from a single classroom to a multi-level program with dedicated teachers, modern teaching methods, and innovative digital tools like the Tamizhi app. Our graduates have gone on to become cultural ambassadors, passing on their love for Tamil to the next generation and maintaining strong connections to their heritage.
